My name is Kevin J. Keller. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site, and I sincerely hope any questions you may have about me are answered on this website.

I am currently the content director at Coastal Bend Publishing, LLC, and the editor of the Beeville Bee-Picayune in Beeville, Texas. I first moved to Beeville to take over as the sports editor at the Bee-Picayune in July 2014. I added the sports editor title at the Goliad Advance-Guard in early 2020 when it became the sister publication to the Bee-Picayune. Later in 2020, I became the content director over the company’s six publications and the editor of the Bee-Picayune.

I also own and operate my own photography and graphic design business called KJK Photography. I specialize in sports and team photography, but also do the occasional portrait session.

Before becoming the sports editor in Beeville, I spent nearly five years at the Roswell Daily Record in Roswell, New Mexico. I relocated from Northeast Ohio to Roswell in August 2009, accepting a sports reporter position at the Daily Record. After less than six months on the job in Roswell, I was promoted to sports editor in January 2010. Before accepting the position in Roswell, I served as a sports reporter for The Press-News in Waynesburg, Ohio. I was the lone member of the sports staff while there and covered high school sports at Canton South, East Canton and Sandy Valley high schools.

I also spent parts of 2007, 2008 and 2009 working for the Continental Indoor Football League, a professional indoor football league based in Canton, Ohio. In 2007, I served in the role of Director of Media Relations. In that role, I implemented and managed the CIFL Radio Network, an online radio network that provided play-by-play broadcasts of CIFL games. In 2008, I served in a limited role with the league, but still managed the radio network and assisted several of the teams in the league with their weekly game broadcasts. I returned to the league in a full-time capacity in 2009, serving as the Director of Operations/Media Relations. I again managed the radio network and, as in 2007, served as the play-by-play voice of the league championship game.

I graduated with a diploma in Radio and Television Broadcast Technique from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting in Valley View, Ohio, in July 2003. My internship experiences at OCB included time as a color analyst and production assistant with Adelphia Cable in Cleveland, Ohio, and as a talk show host and executive producer with TheSportsKing.com.

After graduating from OCB, I spent time with three different radio stations, including WCER AM 900 (Canton, Ohio), WNPQ 95.9 FM (Canton, Ohio) and WLYC 1050 AM (Williamsport, Pa.) while also working for The Press-News.

My web experience includes the design and implementation of this website as well as a handful of other websites for family and friends. I have also served as a webmaster and content manager for CIFLfootball.com and MarionMayhem.com.

In my personal life, I am the co-founder of the Gage Knight Foundation, a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research. I also served as the co-chairperson of the Minerva Area Relay for Life.

I am also a golf enthusiast. I have spent the better part of a decade whittling my handicap to the low single digits. I recorded my first career sub-par round while in Roswell, but I am still seeking my first hole-in-one and my first round in the 60s. While I still don’t have that elusive hole-in-one, I do have an even more rare double eagle to my credit, recording a 2 on the par-5 first hole at the NMMI Golf Course in Roswell.
